Yea or nay on the “shot list”

When it comes time for the formals, I do all the normal stuff for the immediate family and wedding party…. and I’m fast.
Other than that, I keep my eyes open and capture the world as it happens.

Now… on to “shot list”.
You NEVER want a photographer who needs a checklist doing your wedding photography! He’ll spend all his time looking at the list, and miss all the wonderful, romantic and spontaneous moments of your wedding!

I first mention that as question #6 on page 1 of my Secrets.

I’m glad to add a bit more to that.
I want to be sure you all have the most fun and stress free day possible.

I use the same system as the photographer (below).

My hands are always moving and I may, indeed, have a camera in each hand.
I attach my various lenses to my body. I use a very cool pouch system by “Think Tank”.
Once assembled, I’m extremely mobile with everything I need in a heartbeat.
Both my hands are in constant motion between cameras, controls and lens swaps.

What if you have some must-have artsy shots, aside from the formals. Easy…. simply send JPEGs a few weeks before the wedding. I’ll load those on my phone for us to refer to during your special day.
